Isaiah's Peace Vision

The messianic King of Israel, unlike all previous kings and redeemers, is the final king and redeemer. Unlike other kings, who conquer with physical power, he will lead by virtue of his wisdom. Other kings, presumably Gentile kings, will consider him their king; he will be King of Kings. Unlike all former redemptions (e.g., redemption from Egypt) messianic redemption will be complete and will endure to the end of time and will be a preparation for the final dissolution of Creation back to the Creator. Thus, the intrusion of the supernatural entities into "this world," (i.e., Moses, Messiah, Torah, Temple, Soul, intellect, etc.) is for the purpose of guiding creation back to its source - back to the totally spiritual realm, back to the World to Come, back to G-d.

"And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
And the leopard shall lie down with the kid;
And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them.
… They shall not hurt nor destroy
In all my holy mountain;
For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord,
As the waters cover the sea."
