| Moses - 1994, Acrylic on canvas, 74 x 59 cm | |
![]() Moses holds an exclusive place in Jewish tradition. He strove for social justice and national liberation and to reconcile the law with compassion and authority with integrity. He had a passion for poetic inspiration and feelings of anger and joy just like any ordinary human being. He had a complex relationship with G-d and with His people, yet his influence is unlimited. The Law bears his name, the Talmud is but its commentary and Kabbalah hints at its secrets. |
